SERVICE HINTS
  • Never use screwdrivers, lever bars or others aids to pry belts over sprockets.
  • Before installation, replace warn or damaged tensioner bearing(s), idler(s) and oil seal(s) to ensure idler has free movement.
  • On installation, be careful to ease the tensioner into position, do not let it strike the belt with a hard blow, make sure tensioner spring is properly engaged. Handle the belt carefully at all times and keep free of oil , grease 6 grit.
  • Do not crimp the belt.
  • Gaido recommends the usage of timing belt tensioner tester
    (P/N : 91000) to provide an accurate belt tension.
